I am a 60 year old, divorced dad of 5.  Two of my children are biological and 3 are adopted. (Two legally adopted and the other one adopted in my heart)  I live in the little hamlet of Welch, OK.  I grew up in Kansas only 19 miles from here, so I have really strayed far from home.  LOL   I found this site in conjunction with Remembrance.com when Jerahmia McDonald was killed in an automobile accident recently and I posted a tribute there to him. I am having a tough time, but am going to make it!  He was the "son" adopted in my heart. When I would tell him that he was my fifth kid, he would flash that broad smile and say, "I know Dad."  I miss him terribly.

I am a man of faith and I know that there is friend who sticks closer than a brother.  I lean into Him and I urge others of you who have lost loved ones to do the same, because only He can give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. If you don't have some kind of congregation of faith, find one, for their support and love is invaluable.
